fish with feet!
dropped down to the Henry Ford IMAX tonight for the advance screening of
"Aliens of the Deep". What it seriously lacks in story & content, it makes up for in spectacle. There were stange jelly fish type creatures, giant spiney fish
with feet, an octopus with fins, ocean floor chimneys with 700 degree black smoke billowing out, self luminating crab, giant squid, and hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of tiny shrimp & bacteria all in IMAX 3-D! it was just kool to see things that have never before been discovered or filmed before. i guess i'm a sucka (geek / nerd) for the amazement of the unkown world. makes me wonder why i ever got into radio.
revenge of the dodgeball
Thursday night Liz, Cyn, Matt, & I dropped in on the drop in dodgeball at the RO, YMCA and for the last 2 days every muscle in my body has ached. I don't remember ever being this sore when we were in fall league. This just proves to me that the little time I have spent working out over the last 2 weeks I haven't pushed myself at all. Time to reconsider on those classes.
time well spent (or at least not wasted)
hours of enjoyment ... especially if you're a Simpsons fan ... have fun!

PS2 I *heart* you
this week went by quickly ... off Mon, Tue & 1/2 day on Fri PLUS i have Mon of as a payed holiday ... feels like i've wasted every free moment playing Tony Hawk's Underground 2. tried to have an eventful new years eve last night with dinner at Sangria, then a visit to see red kong @ ol'man kelly's, but instead started feeling ill before dinner & ended up on the couch sleeping through all the festivities. must have caught a touch of Liz's stomach flu. the winter months are so dull. nothing really on the schedule to look forward to. no concerts, no vacations, nothing! Liz & I are suppose to join the YMCA this week. its been so long since i've done any serious, scheduled excercise. sure hope we can find the motivation to actually go. well, this was pointless. back to PS2.
