full swing
christmastime is basically here ... dinner with old friends last night (lots of catching up ... plus, the best glass of wine i've ever had) ... its been over 2 years since the band got back together ... more friending tonight (pre-party @ R&L HQ, followed by WABage) ... then family festivities (fri-mon) ... "no work til wednesday"! ... i'd like to be productive in some way (any way) before that, but i just don't see it happening ... i guess i'll just be happy as long as i don't gain 5 LBs and/or break out from the 12 pounds of chocolate will try to avoid eating and fail ...
also ... i finally spoke to my good friend Jason Shrum today ... he was travelling home for the Holiday with HIS FIANCEE! ... WTF! ...

snow day - snow + $$$ = payed vaca day
i'm off from work today for the simple reason that i discovered monday that i have the equivelent of 7 days i need to take off before the end of the year or i loose them. no idea how i'm going to fit them all in and still get my work done. radio sucks in the sense that it never stops. broadcasting 24/7/365 = work/work/work. no wonder i still have 56 hours of unused vacation. today, i plan to begin christmas shopping but i've been awake since 8:45am and still haven't left the house. soon the afternoon will have slipped away and i will no longer have the motivation, energy, nor patience for the mall.

yeah for me! finally, took some time to look at my code and figure out why IE was interpreting the links all funky. turns out it was my fault. too much cut & pasting and forgot to use closing tags. anyway, for you losers still using IE ... enjoy!
